Okay, so this one is pretty out there; you may very well be tempted to suspect that we’ve been sampling the product. Essentially what happened is that we were hired to do an ad for a company that makes “yoga pants”– except the pants they sent us weren’t yoga pants (i.e., tight, fashionable workout gear) at all, but Thai fisherman pants (kind of like hospital scrubs made for a polar bear)! We asked if it was okay if we renamed the product “Giant Hippie Pants” and mildly made fun of it and, to their credit, they agreed. So… a friend from college was getting married and for reason that required buying me a Hooters-branded cigar.  This would make a great prop, I thought.  Rather than smoke it, I should write a video that features it.  A couple of months later, this happened.  The cigar is way too dry to smoke now, so I hope it was worth it…

This video has confused a few people, so allow me to explain:

Over time, we’ve done several videos with the word “Jesus” in the title, and they have been our biggest failures. Meanwhile, videos with titles including words like “sex”, “nude” and “butt” have been runaway hits. So: we decided to make a video with both “Sex” and “Jesus” in the title and let them battle it out.

The not terribly surprising results:

This has been our most popular “Jesus” video and our least popular “Sex” video.

We made a video series called “portraits in intoxication” in which various hot girls talk about the history of various alcoholic drinks. It was classic pandering and the end result kind of sucked, so we made one final episode to make fun of ourselves for the failure of our earlier attempt. This one features a girl in an extremely short skirt shaking her butt around and saying the word “butt” repeatedly. Good stuff…
